Slight Scratch or Scuff and Graffiti: |
Tools: Paper towel, non-ammonia cleaning solution, Type "A" very fine abrasive pad, and |
1000 grit sandpaper. |
Note: Any common solvent such as acetone, or paint remover can be used to remove ink or |
paint graffiti prior to any scratch repair. |
1. Clean area to be repaired with cleaner moistened towel, allow drying. |
2. Rub abrasive pad across scratches or scuff until removed. |
3. Rub 1000 grit sandpaper on repair area until panel sheen is restored. |
4. Clean panel and repair area with cleaner moistened towel, allow drying. |

Medium to Deep Scratch / Cut Repair: |
Tools: Paper towel, non-ammonia cleaning solution, power sander, 120-180 grit sandpaper, |
Type "A" very fine abrasive pad, 1000 grit sandpaper. |
1. Clean area to be repaired with cleaner moistened towel, allow drying. |
2. Use power sander with 120 or 180 grit sandpaper to completely remove scratches/cuts. |
3. Rub abrasive pad across scratches or scuffs until removed. |
4. Rub 1000 grit sandpaper on repair area until panel sheen is restored. |
5. Clean panel and repair area with cleaner moistened towel, allow drying. |

Large Area Repair (Scratches): |
Tools: Power sander, 120 grit sandpaper, Type "A" very fine abrasive pad, 1000 grit |
sandpaper, non-ammonia cleaning solution, paper towels. |
1. Power sand (120 grit paper) repair area until all scratches disappear. |
2. Power sand (abrasive pad) repair area until all 120 grit scratches disappear. |
3. Rub 1000 grit sandpaper on repair area until panel sheen is restored. |
4. Clean panel and repair area with cleaner moistened towel, allow drying. |
